Technique:
A small quantity of blood is drawn from the patients arm. The blood is then centrifuged with a specific sterile technique to isolate and concentrate the thrombocytes (platelets). Topical anesthetic cream is applied to the pubic region. Then local anesthesia is injected into the pubic skin to numb the shaft of the penis.
